Essence of the Emblem

Humanity Matters seek to serve and uplift the disaster-stricken, distressed, disadvantaged and vulnerable regardless of country, culture or creed. Humanity Matters (HM) believe that regardless of doctrine or faith, the righteous man always act in compassion and care for others in need.

The two elements of HM are a heart and a calligraphic ideogram meaning ‘Man’ or humanity.  The silver heart represents the values of universal human kindness, compassion and spiritual transcendence.  The blue ideogram depicts humanity in harmony, filled with dignity, trust, faith and fellowship.

Together, they underscore the belief that compassion and humanity are inherent and universal in the hearts of all peoples regardless of their diverse denominations.  Fundamentally, everyone is a human being and each one of us matters – humanity matters.
